Emily & Nick

Here's the first of many photos to come from Emily & Nick's wedding on 5/22/10. It was a beautiful day in Lee's Summit and I got a TON of amazing photos. Some of my couples, for the sake of saving time and speeding up the group photo process, choose to see each other before the wedding ceremony. In these cases the bride and groom have a special moment, just the two of them and me with the camera, where they see each other for the first time in all their regalia. Just look in their eyes, their expressions tell the whole story :)

Working hard

Rarely do I see pics of myself caught in the act of doing my job. Someone snapped one of me at the Matthia's wedding. Juggling 2 cameras, pants rolled up and getting rained on....all in a day's work :)

Congrats Grads!

Saturday I spent the day running around to 4 different MU graduation ceremonies, photographing graduating athletes for the University. I'm not sure about my rights as far as posting those images go...so here's one of the day's 'outtakes'.

What I've been up to...

Well, it's wedding season. That means I'm slammed with weddings and engagements, which is great! Here's a few from Emily & Andy's engagement session, I'm shooting their wedding this October. I went to STL to photograph them. We played around in Forest Park and then took some downtown on Washington. Have a look:

Torturing the Intern

It's nearing the end of the semester, which means I only have a week left to torture our intern Kayla by making her be my lighting guinea pig. It's a little unnerving to be in front of the camera. I imagine it is especially so when I'm directing her with suggestions like, "TWIRL!", "DO SOMETHING!". But it's alright, Kayla is a great sport. Just look at these super sassy pics! You go girl!

Chris & Rachel's Engagement Session

Here are Chris & Rachel. I took some engagement photos for them today. I will be photographing their wedding in October. I made them walk alllll over downtown Columbia. Such good sports.
