The Susan Family

A trip to longtime L. Frisch Photography clients Amy & Bogdan's house is always such a treat for me. As I look around their house I see my photos EVERYWHERE. It's so cool. I know that sounds nerdy, but it's not often that I get to see how my clients use their pics once I give them away. I mean, how often do you get to see a family pic that you took blown up to 36"x48" hanging right over the fireplace?! Pretty rad. You can't NOT notice it :)
So as Summer rolled around it was time for another (even bigger!) family pic to replace the one above the fireplace, because a new family member, sweet & smiley little Rocco was born. So here are a few of my favs from the session. Adorable children! And notice the styling...see? That's why I had Amy style the Inside Columbia fall fashion feature. She knows what she's doing!

Brimer Family

I have known Faline and John since I was 16 years old! Back then I was an overly tan (hey! I was a lifeguard), bleached blonde (like platinum..almost white, it was ridiculous) shy little teenager with high voice who had just started taking her first photography classes. At that time they were dating, Faline was finishing up school I believe. I remember that I thought John was one of the funniest people I'd ever met (still true. he's pretty quick with the wit).  As time went on the two got engaged, married and started their lives together, living happily in Liberty, MO. We lost touch for quite some time when I moved to Columbia for college but recently reconnected when I had the opportunity to photograph Faline's sister Ashley's wedding this past April. It was John who sent Ashley my way, so, THANKS JOHN! Faline rocked her bridesmaid dress at Ashley's wedding, baby bump and all, as the matron of honor. After all was said and done Faline & family were so happy with Ashley's wedding pics that they asked me to take photos of the whole family when the baby was born.
On August 14th Harrison was born, and on September 12th I made a trip back to Liberty, MO to take some lovely photos of the family. Here are some of my favorites from the session:
